Our goal is to build a sustainable approach to equitable and diverse representation within our Cell Ag programmatic activities at all levels. To achieve this goal, we are implementing the following phased approach:
Phase 1 - Assessment - where things stand today (completed)
Phase 2 - Recruitment - active
Phase 3 - Retention – planning and implementation
Phase 4 - Self-sustaining – five-year goals established
This plan was designed in collaboration with Diversity & Inclusion Program Administrator Mafalda Gueta. Mafalda works closely with departments to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice initiatives and programs through the Center for STEM Diversity.
