Industry Consortium
Our industry consortium, founded in 2022, leverages industry insights to build foundational science, transparency, and a talented workforce to advance cellular agriculture. Via an annual fee, members receive voting rights on consortium research priorities, pre-publication data, royalty free, non-exclusive IP licensing, and access to talent.
So far, we have:
- Published 3 peer-reviewed publications (with 8 in progress)
- Filed 1 ingredient patent (with 2 more in pre-filling)
- Generated dozens of novel physical materials and 5+ fundamental insights
- Created 4 computational tools

Consortiums could fuel particularly forward-thinking work in the cellular-agriculture landscape because they strategically pool resources and know-how to develop key portions of the production process. By allowing competitors to work together on essential components like cell lines and growth media, the hope is that everyone will get to the finish line faster and more affordably, and innovate new processes and products along the way (read more here)
